- Pinhole photography including 6 month long exposure shots. Every day the Sun leaves one line after another. The tracks of the moving Sun are visible and increase progressively from December to June. The missing traces are due to the Sun being obscured on overcast days.

And look! One in Texas! (and more from other places!)

This solargraph is facing East and shot over a two month period from the roof of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

- Another neato cupcake site with interesting recipes.

- Who Judges You?
An excellent article from The Simple Dollar about being socially judged and how it shouldn’t be important to you except as a guide to how you feel about yourself.

In the end, the only opinions that really matter are your own opinions and the opinions of a very small and select group of people who know the full situation and whose opinions you’ve actually decided to care about…

In the end, you’re the only person living your life and only a small handful of people have a significant impact on your life. The rest of them can take their opinions and their judgments elsewhere.

Focus on what you’d like to accomplish in your own life. Right now, what one thing would you most like to accomplish in your life? Don’t worry abut what anyone else thinks or says or wants from you. What do you want from your life?

- Cake Towel Gift Sets – how cute!

- The Double Down, not as bad as they say? – I know I’d be much better served by a Double Down than a bowl of Grape Nuts myself. I don’t do well with carby things.

- Pemmican anyone? – Something I might give a swing at at some point.

- How to make baking soda shampoo – I had just been sprinkling it on my head in the shower, which apparently is the hard way to do it.

- Fat Head – The Movie – I’m VERY interested in seeing this movie. I like her review of it, people that cursorily look at it are going to say it’s a debunk movie about Super Size Me, but it’s a lot more than that. It discusses the lipid hypothesis and how it came to be, how it might not be all true and how saturated fats are not the evil that they have been made out to be.

- Max Headroom out on DVD in August
